Port Labelle Inn - Port La Belle

I was captivated by the charming community gardens and unique local dining experiences nearby. The serene atmosphere allowed for peaceful relaxation while enjoying the friendly and attentive staff throughout my stay.

Absolutely great hotel located in a really quiet area just next door to a marina on the Caloosahatchee River, Fort Myers, and the Port Labelle Inn. Extremely spacious and updated rooms with a kitchenette and separate beds, as example, FANTASTIC stay! Exceptionally nice location, an easy walk to everywhere.

My room was reasonably spacious and huge and featured good view of a garden. Location: the hotel was near to restaurant and bar, the "main " river, and several boats.

The hotel has a dated feel, with some rooms in particularly poor condition, with broken fixtures and musty odors that detracted from the overall experience. Inconsistent internet connectivity proved frustrating needing to stay connected. Unfortunately, water pressure issues and plumbing malfunctions in bathrooms contributed to discomfort , diminishing the practicality of the accommodations.

The gardens here are fine, with colorful flowers everywhere. The peaceful vibe made mornings special. Watching the local wildlife added to the charm, particularly the alligator around the river. My room was spacious, but the shower had no grab bar was good. I noticed plumbing issues. The toilet seat didn't function properly, and I had to be careful of a slippery floor due to leaks. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and cheerful, which really brightened my mornings. I appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi, although connectivity was spotty at times, especially in my room. The pool area looked inviting, but I didn't get to enjoy it since I'd forgotten my swimsuit. Despite a few hiccups, I liked the quaint setting and would definitely consider returning with some improvements in mind.

I loved wandering the scenic walking paths that dotted the beautiful grounds, surrounded by colorful gardens. The opportunity to catch sight of local wildlife, like the famed alligator 'Nibbles', added a unique thrill to my stay. It was such a joy to relax in my newly remodeled room with amazing views of the Caloosahatchee River!
